One year ago today, NUKG unexpectedly lost a long-time advocate in Hazee - a superb selector, excellent host & friend to many.
As a DJ, Hazee had repped Garage to the max for many years - having held down shows on a number of stations. He also played at all manner of clubnights, including the likes of Garage Nation & Highly Swung. His most recent radio residency prior to his passing was on London's Pure FM, where he had (unsurprisingly!) become a firm favourite amongst listeners.
With a keen ear for a good tune, he was one of a select group of DJs who could proficiently showcase the diverse spectrum of UKG in its entirety - & sounded good doing it. Moreover, he had acquired a reputation amongst his peers for being a gentleman to boot.
12 months on from his passing NUKG 24/7 wanted to acknowledge Adam, & his continued support for the genre of music we love. He is missed! As always, our love & thoughts are with his family.
