Tennis-loving NUKG fans will rejoice, as the latest TopSpin game released this week on all major platforms; & it features a track by none other than everyone's favourite LA-based drummer-turned-producer Hans Glader!
'Lost', recorded with vocalist Kaylan Arnold dropped all the way back in July 2022, with a remix EP featuring Drinks On Me, DJ Q & Wes Pierce landing in February of this year. The original version found a place on NUKG 24/7's Jazz Step playlist the moment it dropped & we've been fans of it ever since, so it's not surprising to hear that someone at Hangar 13 picked up on the track when shortlisting music for the latest version of their blockbuster tennis video game franchise.
What makes this occasion arguably more momentous is that the track is one which Hans self-released via Distrokid. Whether he has a publisher representing his interests or not, it's fairly unprecedented in the world of sync to see self-released tracks pop up on TV & media like this - so one can't help but applaud Mr Glader & Ms Arnold further for their accomplishment on this occasion. As die-hard fans of NUKG we are of course also mighty pleased on the whole to hear the genre we loved repped on such a grand platform.
