We're huge fans of newcomer Ross Wood. His output has been conservative, dropping a limited number of releases since his debut two years ago. But what he may lack in frequency, he more than makes up for with vibes and quality. His soulful steppers pay homage to the likes of MJ Cole et. al- slotting perfectly onto our Jazz Step playlist.

Latest release 'Piece Of My Soul' is a perfect example - with it's sparse arrangement and slick keys providing the perfect backdrop for a haunting vocal that gets stuck right in your head (we challenge you to listen and not be singing it for the coming days!).
