What do Canadians know about NUKG? we hear you ask. Well - quite a lot it would seem, if this debut release from No Sportsmanship is anything to go by.
With a distinctly Strictly Flava vibe to it, 'Mimosa Specialty' kicks things off with oodles of soul and plenty of sub-bass to boot - skipping along nicely with some vintage UKG vocal cuts cutting in-&-out.
'1-800-Oversleep' harps back to UKG's Lost Years with it's skippy 4x4 beats and filtered bouncy square bass, underlaying some cheeky pad stabs and creative synth patches.
All-in-all, it's an impressive debut and leaves us in no doubt that we want to hear more from Vancouver's brightest prospect.
Feeling it? Grab it here.
