In a surprising turn of events, Matt 'Jam' Lamont posted a cryptic visual to his socials today - accompanied by the caption "#tuffjam".

Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown & Matt 'Jam' Lamont made up a prolific production outfit during the late-90s, at a time when UKG first began to emerge from the underground on its ascent to mainstream success. Outside of plentiful original productions, they remixed a who's who of commercially successful acts whilst simultaneously presenting an up-front show on Kiss 100FM from 1997 until 2000, after which they parted ways.
Matt went on to work with DJ Face as one half of Jam & Face, responsible for a slew of official remixes (including that iconic edit of Mis-Teeq's 'Why'); before launching seminal lost years label Solo Recordings & later teaming up with Scott Tonic (now Scott Diaz / Echelon).
Meanwhile, Karl founded 2Tuf4U in 2002 & has mentored hoardes of up-'n-coming acts ever since. At least in part due to its signature bumpy styling & vinyl stylings, the label attained an almost cult-like following & been home to tracks from the likes of legendary producers like Todd Edwards & MJ Cole - to a plethora of lost years mainstays like Duncan Powell, Solution & Alessandro.
Based on this latest social media tease, one can only speculate about the prospect of what's next for the duo... an unexpected reunion? OnlyFans page? Re-release of their back-catalogue in digital format? We'll let you know, as-&-when more news becomes available.
