DerteeDisco strives high with latest EP release on Strange Times

Denver's Kree Iraldo, pka DerteeDisco, has made an impactful impression with his latest release on Strange Times.

The aptly titled 'Striving High' sees the American turning heads worldwide, with all 3 tracks from the release placing high in the Beatport top 100 tracks and the release as a whole peaking at 2 on the top 10 releases list.

It's an impressive debut on the label, but not wholly surprising when you consider the topical nature of the music and high calibre of production. Warping his way through 'Ragga Badboys' & 'What I Want' - DerteeDisco shows he knows a thing or two about constructing dancefloor friendly Speed Garage, before flipping into some skippy bass-led 2 Step business with 'Toogetah'. To boot, the release was mastered by none other than Phonetix - so you know it's going to sound absolutely rude when you bang it out on a big system.
