MC Cobra to link with Phonetix again for first release from his new album

A consistent pairing over the years, long-time collaborators MC Cobra and Phonetix have linked on tracks on every one of their respective albums. And 2025 is no exception, with the lead single from previously reported 'Game Of Tones' set to be the mafioso-twinged bass-heavy Stepper 'Badadults'; which takes aim at the cartel-like nature of Garage's inner circle, who seek to protect their own interests by blocking up-'n-coming talent. It's long since been an issue with the scene, dating back to the Uptown Records forum days circa 2003 - when DJs and producers alike would complain about the lack of opportunities for anyone not officially approved by certain parties. Cobra's done a stellar job of putting the problem into words with his supreme vocal talents, which compliments Phonetix's cinematic production - complete with Sicilian mandolin to really highlight the issue!
